The Con Edison Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Energy Efficiency Program offers cash incentives for installing electric and gas energy efficient equipment and technologies. ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy that provides a common platform from which to report benchmarked utility data that serves as a starting point for all energy efficiency undertakings. Because a strategic approach to energy management can produce twice the savings for the bottom line and the environment as typical approaches, EPA’s ENERGY STAR partnership offers a proven energy management strategy that helps in measuring current energy performance, setting goals, tracking savings, and rewarding improvements. Working with the Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO) has allowed UtiliSave to further qualify their measurement and verification standards by arming their staff with the credentials necessary to become a Certified Measurement and Verification Professionals (CMVP). Based on an internationally accepted standard, CMVPs have the ability to aptly measure and verify the energy savings effectiveness of energy cost measures (ECMs). This service allows customers to optimize their investment while planning, implementing, and continuously monitoring efficiency projects.
